Wine week at the Belvedere

During our wine week from 2 July to 8 July 2023, you can taste selected wines from the Gagliole winery in Tuscany every day. Every day from 6.30 p.m., different wines are available for tasting in the restaurant.

Gagliole is a jewel that combines all the beauty of Tuscany. The magnificent cypress driveway leading up to the villa conveys images of a time thought to be past and makes the viewer feel at peace. Part of the vineyards, around ten hectares, is located in Gagliole (Castellina in Chianti). Here, the vines grow mainly on old terraces, with occasional olive trees towering in between. A cultivation system that has been in use since the Middle Ages, its spectacular views are admired by visitors from all over the world.

The highlight of the wine week is the tasting with Alessia Riccieri from the Gagliole winery. She will tell you interesting facts about selected wines from the Gagliole winery in the lobby on Thursday, 6 July 2023 from 6.00 pm. During dinner, with a matching menu, she will then continue to be available for those interested.

The wine tasting during the week is free of charge for guests of the BELVEDERE HOTEL FAMILY. External guests can also participate for CHF 25.-.

The wine presentation takes place as part of half board. We recommend that guests without half board reserve a table for this evening.
